Conspiracy Theory

Indonesia with a population of internet users currently about 132.1 million people is ranked no. 5 in the world after China, India, USA and Japan. However, in terms of the educationsl level of the Indonesian people, it is still lower than USA or Japan. With such large number of internet users and the educational level of the population which is still low, then Indonesia is the most attractive country for spreading fake business news (hoax) and also the conspiracy theories.

Among the spreading of fake news (hoax) and conspiracy theories, actually there is one common thing, those two were never being confirmed and proven. Sometimes even both of them are intentionally produced for the purpose of deceiving the people of Indonesia. In order for the purposes and interests of a particular third party.

Conspiracy theory is a theory which, according to the majority opinion of the people is something which is perceived as truth, and is believed to create significant historical events. Although it is still in the form of theory, but yet most people today believe it as a truth.

An example of a conspiracy theory that often we found for instance is a conspiracy behind the iluminati clan of Jews as the main mastermind behind the scenes. You can certainly easy to find it at some of the internet sites, or even there had been many books can be found that discuss about conspiracy theory of the iluminati clan. Though so many facts and documents are shown, but until now none of them are able to prove the truth and existence of these conspiracy theories.

Then there are also conspiracy theories about the events of 9/11 related to the hijacking of the planes and the collapse of the WTC buildings in the US. There are a variety of versions of the conspiracy theories that appear related to this. But in the end, they are also the same, none of the parties who are able to prove the truth of the conspiracy theories.

Furthermore, there is a range of other forms of conspiracy theories that have emerged, such as a theory about UFO, aliens, about the Gulf war, about ISIS or about tsunami in Aceh at 2004, etc. None of the parties or certain research agency who is able to prove that all these conspiracy theories are exist and correct.

Whereas, as a muslim we should be able to think critically and objectively. No matter how goods and interresting is a theory it should must be checked and confirmed. However, unfortunately, of the many conspiracy theories that developed and believable as truth today, there are none of them had been already checked and confirmed.

"O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful." (QS 49:6)

However, it is actually clear that at first place, this conspiracy theory was created by humans, not by God Almighty. So thus, the conspiracy theory is not necessarily true, because the man was not al-Haq of the righteous.

All my brothers and sisters, all conspiracy theories mentioned above, is a conspiracy theory based on the perspective of the atheist, that is the view of those who do not believe the ultimate role of Almighty God as Lord that Governing This world. So, if one day you hear or find someone told a conspiracy theory to you, such as the conspiracy theories of iluminati, or conspiracy theories amongst China people, etc., then be sure in your heart that those conspiracy theories are from the point of view of atheists.

Someone who is an atheist, he does not believe that God sets and determines all events in the world. According to the view of an atheist that all events in the world was a result of conspiracy of the Jews or Christians or people of China. In this case, it ihad been already obvious that our guru often teaches us, that all events that happen in this world is the result of the will and ordinances of God Almighty, not because of the greatness of conspiracy amongst the Jews or Christians or people of China.

وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
"And the disbelievers conspired, but Allah conspired. And Allah is the best of conspirator.” (QS 3:54)

Then according to the view of an atheist, they believe that one human is the enemy of other human beings, such as for example the enemies of Muslims are the Jews and Christians. So, then according to the conspiracy theories which are created by an atheist there should be already a global conspiracy, and this world is already being overrun by the enemy of Muslims, which are Jews and Christians.

Though it had been clearly stated in the Quran that Allah declares the real human enemy is satan, not the Jews and the Christians. There had been a story from an ancient Prophet Jacob, that he has boys who then became the ancestor of the children of Israel. At one night, one of his son Joseph had a dream which he thought was so strange. And then, here below was the advice from Jacob to his son.

"He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy." (QS 12:5)

Then as for a faithful and believers, obviously they have a point of view upon the conspiracy theories with a different perspective compared to the view and understanding of an atheist. For those who believe, then the enemy of the human being is satan, not a man, nor his brothers of Joseph, who would later become the ancestors of the children of Israel.

Well, so it is very clear now, that there are basically 2 perspective upon a conspiracy theory: the conspiracy theories from the viewpoint of an atheist, and there are also conspiracy theories from the perspective of a believer and faithful. Both are very different, as just described above. So now, on which conspiracy theories are you supporting to? (AK)
