The following article was only meant to share the knowledge of a tips for exercising to become taqwa to Allah swt. Being taqwa is a condition of eliminating ego and passion from ourseoves, and then submitting every kind of matters and issues to Allah swt.

The one who is mostly being taqwa is the one who had already succeed to eliminate his own ego and private passion from himself, except for a tiny portion. Whoever has succeed in eliminating his own ego, then Allah swt will lead him to the true path.

In order to achieve that level, we must do exercise in eliminating our own ego even only for a short period. Such as when we are reading the Qoran particulary on this below verse. If we do not eliminate our own self when we read this verse, then we can fall into shirk deed, because we ask people to worship us.

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ
“Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me” (QS 21:92)

And so as when we sit during the prayer and saying tahiyat. When we read this below statement, then try to eliminate your own ego from your self, replace it by the Nur Allah which move our mouth to say.

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

If we do not eliminate our own ego, and presume that it was us who said that statement, then it will lead us to a shirk. Admitting and consider our self like a God.

And so as when we sit during the prayer and saying the following statement during tahiyat, we must try to eliminate our own ego from our self, replace it by the Nur Muhammad which move our mouth to say.

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِاللهِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ

If we do not eliminate our own ego, and presume that it was us who said that statement, then it will lead us to a mislead. Because the greeting was given by Allah swt and intended for Rasulullah saw, not for us.

Then after those, we shall say Syahadah. It was said by our self dan filled with total submission statement of matters and issues to Allah swt.

So those are the tips for exercising ourself in order to become taqwa. Whoever does not able to eliminate his own ego and his private passion, then he could be fallen into doing shirk, just as explained on above article. (AK)
