Tawheed Sentence

A Tawheed sentence is a statement sentence or a witnessed statement from a servant who admitted and stated that he/she as a person who accepting one God, that is Allah swt. Accepting Allah swt as one god is not only admitting Allah swt as the Creator of the universe of both physical and non-physical world, but also admitting that they submit all of their concerns and business to Allah swt.

As for the sentence that was mostly yelled by most of the moslem people today which was “Laa Ilaaha illallah, Muhamaddar rasuulullah”, is not the tawheed sentence. According to our guru that is a thayibah sentence. Good sentence. Because by saying that sentence it would not automatically make someone being tawheed. That is a kind of information or a kind of statement from Allah swt to human being, not a statement from human who said it.

The true tawheed sentence is such a sentence below:

اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لّاَ اِلهَ اِلّاَ الله وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُوْلُ الله

Then, after saying the tawheed sentence it would be still differences in understanding it and positioning ourselves in being tawheed to Allah swt. There are a number of people who positioned ‘I’ as god inside theirselves. So then whenever they stated the sentence of Syahadah or the tawheed sentence they will say it like this: “I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, And I bear witness that Muhammad is His messenger.”

Inside of these people’ self, ‘I’ become god and become something which is very dominant to control their bahviour and deeds. They do something based on their own reasons or based on their own passions. Not based on Guidance and Direction from Allah swt.

“Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah ? Then will you not be reminded?” (QS 45:23)

On the other hand, there are second group of the moslem people who positioned themselves as a servant in front of Allah swt. They do not have power and there is no ‘I’ inside of themselves. They fully depend themselves and their concerns to Allah swt. So then whenever they stated the sentence of Syahadah or the tawheed sentence they will say it like this: “Your Servant bears witness that there is no god except Allah, And Your servant bears witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

So, please stop! Never saying that the sentence of “Laa Ilaaha illallah, Muhamaddar rasuulullah” as tawheed sentence, and saying that the flag picture above as tawheed flag. No! That is not a tawheed flag!

Why does such a simple thing like that and such a basic thing like that but there are still a lot of moslem people do not understand? In fact, this is a kind of knowledge that the moslem people shall understand it at first time, not the other things. (AK/ST)
