Straightening the Religious Teachings

As of today, there are so many ustadz and people who claimed to be an ulema taught the religious teachings to moslem people. However, the most important one than just teaching the religious teachings is to straighten its religious teachings. Because apparently, amongst the religious teachings being taught to the moslem people, we found so many mistakes inside.

As for example on the religious teachings of specific worshiping such as fasting, prayer, dhikr and praying. The teaching which was mostly taught to the moslem people today is to worship instantly. Such as people are taught to do fasting during the day, there were so many subjects of such teaching about fasting with additionally its proposition based on hadeeth books. But, then when the breakfasting time comes, there were almost none of such teachings which taught the people to control their desires. So, such teaching was only taught how to control the desires duriing the daytime, then when the evening arrives people are let free to express their desires. This is what was meant by doing worship instantly, not continuosly.

As of today, moslem people were taught to do dhikr to Allah swt only just a while after doing prayer, the rest of the time they are set free to forget Allah swt. As of today, people only being taught to do prayer for 5 times in a day and night, there is none who think that initially and substantially prayer should be done the whole time of day and night forever.

The other example is teachings of praying before we eat, praying before entering rest room, praying before travelling, etc. We were taught to pray to Allah swt only at beginning. That what was meant by worshiping instantly. Very little time in remembering Allah awt. Isn’t it the signs of hypocrite people?

إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَامُوا كُسَالَىٰ
يُرَاءُونَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
“Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little.” (QS 4:142)

On the contrary at YAKDI, our guru was straightening this mistake. Praying and remembering Allah swt shall be done not only at the beginning, but it must be done continuously forever. And so was done by Rasulullah saw previously that become a good role model for his disciples.

لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا
“There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.” (QS 33:21)

So, it must be a huge mistake to say that Rasulullah saw only taught his people to remember Allah swt only at beginning before we do an activity. That is so wrong because it is against the above mentioned verse of the Qoran. He, Rasulullah saw is the one who remembering Allah swt very often. (AK/ST)
